Dan Sherburn and Harbor View provided me with the best imaginable service when I was selling my Sailboat. In early summer 2023, family health issues compelled me to sell my beloved cruiser located in Grand Traverse Bay. Harbor View was conveniently located. Other brokers in the Traverse City area would not even answer my phone calls, I presume because my vessel was a modest size vessel, though of high quality build by a notable maker.
Dan Sherburn took care of me, and I mean really handled all the details beyond my expectations. He knew the level of quality in my boat and did not balk at my asking price. Harbor View moved my sailboat off its mooring and onto one of their slips, in prime Traverse City expensive dockage, to give it more exposure and make it more accessible to show. No charge to me. They advertised it in all the usual listing services. No charge to me. And when I was unavailable to be present for some presentation details, Dan Sherburn took care to make it happen in my absence. Neither he nor his company had known me before this transaction, yet I felt like I was being served by family. When an offer was presented, a glitch sprung up that might have quashed a sale. Dan was calm and focused and helped the buyer and me still come to a fair price, and close the deal.
